Kwanzaa! Africa lives in a new world festival

Since the 1960's, African Americans have observed Kwanzaa, a holiday that shares and honors Africa and African American cultures.  No matter hat your background, you can learn about and participate in Kwanzaa.  This book combines information from ancient texts and legends, African Folklore, modern history, and insights from Kwanzaa's founder [Dr. Maulana Karenga, professor and chair of the department of Black Studies at California State University, Long Beach].  It describes the Kwanzaa ceremony, it significance, and its symbols and suggests way for everyone to get involved in Kwanzaa.
